Bad in my Car Recorded at Opus: 1 Studios in Dallas, Texas, sometime in the early 1990s, Bad in my Car captures the last and best incarnation of The Eddy Band. The CD features Chet Hix on bass, Stephen Thomas on guitar, Dave Lemonds on drums, and co-producer Jim Koch on steel. |

Los Trens
High Beams Briefly, during the first manic Eddy rush to fame, Chet and Bob took 6 months off and ended up on a friend's farm in northwest Mississippi. The guys played skee-ball all night at a pool hall in Clinton, then slept all day in the sweltering heat and humidity. In between they recorded songs on an analog 8-track Fostex recorder with two townies, girls from a local community college who brought out cold meat sandwiches and giant bottles of root beer. |

Hate
Better Man Than I've Been After The Eddy Band broke up, Bob recorded Better Man Than I've Been in the home studio of his massive Dallas area compound. With a variety of old pals sitting in, Bob brought to life a riveting collection of new songs that examined his ongoing love of highways, hamburgers, and hotels. |

Hate
Heart Like the Ocean History has it that during a tour of western states, Bob recorded late night jam sessions with a variety of touring band members and local musicians. Over time, a number of Bob Dylan covers were recorded. Dylan was Bob's musical hero, and after the tour was over, Bob gave the okay to collect the rough recordings into a fans-only release. You can hear tracks here: "Heart Like the Ocean." |

Juvenilia Hotly argued as an unauthorized release, Juvenilia (The Lost Sessions) was released as a bootleg by Buck Rudolph. His claim was that before Hate's death, a new version of the band re-recorded a number of unreleased songs from Hate's extensive store of music. Includes never before heard versions of classics like "Heater," "Map of the World," and "Blink of an Eye." |

Gasoline Nation More than just an authorized version of the "Lost Sessions" CD discussed above, Gasoline Nation is a beautiful package that brings together unreleased Hate tracks from all eras. It includes the controversial final sessions with Rudolph and Taxbury, but also rarely heard songs from the early and mid 90s, including Hate & Hix compositions "Stealing Time" and "Baltimore Girl." |
