Inside the grocery 
go through the fruit section
and out the back door
there’s an enormous lake there 
look, the leaves are red 
in the store we couldn’t tell
here we’re above the city

There’s the museum 
but look at this view 
take a picture of it,
covering your eye 
with the camera 

The water is dark blue
like a cigarette ad
and it’s so quiet --
quiet enough for you to kiss me

Let’s take this path
